Construction of Sundials

One of the goals of the  Sundial Society Birkenau is to increase the number of sundials. We created or assisted at over 25 sundials . Below please find some of them.

The construction and the gnomon was made by the Sundial Society, the designer  was Hans Martin.

This sundial was also planned and  constructed by the Sundial Society. You could also see this sundial in  a report at the TV

Two Sundials at the Red Cross

In the street Dr.-Johannes-Stöhr-Straße 9 you can find two sundials. Design, construction and building  by the Sundial Society. They both show the founder of the Red Crosss, Henri Dunant, born in 1828. Therefore the official ID is 180128.
